Rotolight has just released an app designed to work with both the NEO 3 & AEOS 2 lights, allowing you to control them from smartphones or tablets running iOS or Android operating systems.
The app allows you to adjust kelvin, brightness, HSI, Gels, flash settings & SFX, settings on up to 20 separate lights using a “virtual replica” of the touchscreen you would find on the back of the latest generation Rotolight lights.

The app makes it easy to view gels and filters with enhanced visibility and display allowing you to choose between daylight (D56), tungsten (D32) or emulations of each filter.
You can also select from hundreds of real-world sampled light sources when in ‘source match’ mode.
With the of CineSFX (Fire, Lightning, TV, Gunshot, Paparazzi and much more) you can add drama to a scene at a moment’s notice or customize, save and instantly recall your favourite settings within the app.
Finally, Rotolight says that the app will also work with the soon to be released, electronic “SmartSoft” Box for the AEOS 2 where it will allow you to make wireless adjustments to the SmartSoft Box directly from the app.
The Rotolight app is available for download to your device from the Apple App or Google Play stores depending on your device.
