DJI has announced two upgraded accessories for their FPV Avata Drone, the Goggles Integra and the RC Motion 2 controller adding new and improved ways for pilots to fly the drone.
DJI Goggles Integra
The Goggles Integra features foldable antennae and an integrated design that combines the headband and battery into one unit, eliminating extra cables and making it much simpler to put on or remove.
Inside the goggles, the two micro-OLED HD displays boast 1080p resolution and a max screen refresh rate of 100 Hz as well as TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, offering a more comfortable viewing experience for your eyes.
Even with the additional weight of the built-in battery which offers up to two hours of operation, DJI claims that the headband is light, balanced, and very comfortable to wear.
The goggles also feature built-in GPS allowing pilots to fly without connecting to a smartphone and DJI O3+ video transmission that automatically switches between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands offering ultra-low 30-millisecond latency and stable video transmission.

DJI RC Motion 2
DJI’s updated RC Motion 2 controller pairs motion-sensing technology with an upgraded joystick that DJI says will allow pilots of all levels of pilots to easily navigate and maneuver the Avata.
It boasts an accelerator with a reverse function that supports multidirectional flight, including vertical, backward, and sideways by responding to hand movements.
The controller itself has been optimized for single-handed use, with the accelerator, mode button and lock button all within easy reach and the side mounted Fn dial allows for quick camera adjustments including ISO and shutter settings as well as other parameters without having to interact with the goggles.
