After years of making high-quality pro-level microphones and audio equipment, RØDE has finally entered the highly competitive pro headphone market with the introduction of the RØDE NTH-100 over-ear headphones.
Designed to compete with established brands such as Sony and Sennheiser, as well as newer brands such as Beats by Dre, the stylish looking NTH-100s feature sound quality that is superior to similar products currently on the market.
Both the headband cushion and ear cups are covered with soft, breathable Alcantara material for comfort and better resistance to the wear and tear of everyday use.
There is also a layer of RØDE’s CoolTech™ gel under the Alcantara that helps to absorb and dissipate heat, to keep your head and ears cool and comfortable during prolonged listening sessions.
The fully adjustable headband features RØDE’s FitLok™ locking system, which can be used to secure the ear cups in place, so they feel exactly the same every time they are worn.
RØDE says wear fatigue is further reduced by the balanced frequency response and low distortion levels of the NTH-100s.
Both ear cups feature cable attachments with a locking connector to keep the cable from being pulled out accidentally.
Each pair includes 2.4m (7′10″) straight black cable that can be replaced with a 1.2m (3′11″) length or coloured variants (pink, green, orange and blue) which are available separately.
The headphones also include a storage pouch, a 3.5mm to 1/4” adaptor for use with professional audio equipment, and a set of coloured ID rings for easy cable identification (matched to the channel colours of the RØDECaster Pro and the RØDE Connect podcast and streaming software).
