RODE has announced the XCM-50 and XDM-100 RØDEX microphones, the first two mics of a new line specifically designed and optimized for content streamers and gamers.
It boasts a frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz, and 24-bit bit depth, 48 kHz sample rate analog-digital conversion.
Plug-and-play connectivity is provided via a USB-C to USB-C cable that is included with the microphone.
It also includes a free download of RODE’s UNIFY virtual mixing software, unlocking advanced audio processing that is powered by the XCM-50’s internal digital signal processor (DSP).
The XDM-100 is a pro level dynamic USB microphone that has been optimised for streaming and gaming delivering rich, broadcast sound with superior room noise rejection.
It features premium circuitry, including an ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp and high-resolution A/D conversion.
The exterior features a zero-latency 3.5mm headphone output with both level control and mute functionality and also comes with a high-quality pop shield and shock mount.
Like the XCM-50, it boasts a frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz, and 24-bit bit depth, 48 kHz sample rate analog-digital conversion.
