RØDE Announces the RØDECaster Pro II production studio

More than an evolution of the original RØDECaster Pro, the RØDECaster Pro II is a fully integrated audio production studio, packed with next-generation features that promises to be the ultimate all-in-one system for any digital content creator.

The RØDECaster Pro II is fully customisable and can easily be adapted to fit any creative recording application, from livestreaming and gaming to podcasting to music production.

The Pro II boasts four studio-grade Neutrik combo inputs and four headphone outputs, as well a large, full-colour touchscreen that is used to control settings such as automatic levels, one-touch tone control and more.

Each of the inputs utilize RØDE’s ultra-low-noise, high-gain
Revolution Preamps developed specifically for the RØDECaster Pro II to deliver pristine audio quality with any microphone or instrument.

The preamps offer an incredibly low equivalent input noise rating of just -131.5dBV and a whopping 76dB of gain, eliminating the need for lifters, boosters or external processing.

There are nine individually assignable channels, any of which can be allocated to one of the six broadcast-quality physical faders and three virtual faders.

The eight customizable SMART pads can be set to trigger on-the-fly voice effects, send MIDI commands to external software and hardware devices, activate automated mixer actions and more.

The bank switching buttons provide access to eight banks for a total of 64 unique actions at the touch of a button.

On-board effects and the completely overhauled APHEX processors are also fully customisable, featuring granular on-board editing which allows you to fine-tune every parameter to suit individual voice or instrument recording.

The high-performance quad-core audio engine delivers significantly more processing power than any other content creation console on the market.

It also features powerful onboard audio processing, including a compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter and RØDE’s incredible APHEX Aural Exciter and Big Bottom broadcast effects.

All processing and effect parameters can be also be saved as presets and loaded at any time on any channel.

The RØDECaster Pro II is able to connect to a wide range of devices using it’s four analog inputs, dual USB-C interfaces, an extra virtual USB channel, Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port.

It can also record in stereo or multitrack either to an on-board microSD, computer or external storage device, with ultra-fast data transfer over USB.

To keep your RØDECaster Pro II looking pristine and protected, RØDE has also launched the RØDECover 2, a high-quality protective cover.
