World famous photojournalist and author of six books, Slyvia Plachy, whose work has been featured in galleries around the world, will appear in person at Vistek’s downtown Calgary store for an official book signing.
Drop by between noon and 3pm, Monday, Feb. 21 where Plachy will be will be glad to personally autograph one of her books for you. (Books will be available for purchase.)
Former staff photographer at the Village Voice, Plachy is now a contributing photographer at the New Yorker. Her photos have also appeared in the New York Times, Fortune & Art Forum. Plachy is a Guggenheim fellow and recipient of a Lucie Award.
