That’s why it’s important to have a computer that is fast enough and powerful enough to handle the loads that editing photos will put on it.
Sure, you can head down to your local computer store and buy one off-the-shelf ready to go, but these are generally built for the masses, and not necessarily with the needs of the modern photographer in mind.
Building your own computer might sound daunting, but it’s easier than you think (and can be cheaper than purchasing the equivalent pre-made computer from a store.)
