DJI has released a firmware update for their Mini 3 Pro drone that expands it’s Vertical Video Mode capabilities and adds new Hyperlapse, Quickshot and FocusTrack support in while in portrait mode.
If you are unfamiliar with Vertical Video mode, it basically allows pilots to turn the camera to a vertical position in order to capture video in a portrait (vertical) aspect ratio rather than landscape (horizontal) aspect ratio.
The expansion of this mode is important, because most popular mobile-centric apps, such as TikTok or Instagram prefer this aspect for their videos.

Firmware ver. 01.00.0201 also adds two-second interval time setting when using HyperLapse after take off, support for continuous autofocus during video recording and a USB mode that disables image transmission when the aircraft is connected to a computer.
It also adds several updates for existing features and fixes a few issues that shipped with the original firmware.
As always, the firmware can be updated via the (latest Version) Fly App that can be downloaded via the iOS and Android stores.
