Sony has announced the latest firmware update for their FX30 Cine Line camera. Firmware v1.02 doesn’t add any new features, but instead, addresses several bugs that accompanied the previous v1.01 version released last year.
Some users reported that when updating to firmware v1.01, a bug within the update caused a constant boot loop where the camera would power up and then shut down, over and over again.
Sony says that they have resolved this issue as well as several other less critical bugs with this update.
Below is the full list of fixes that are included with the update.
The update is free to download, however, it is only works when download to a memory card that needs to be inserted into the camera. At this time there is no download to Windows or macOS computers option available.
The firmware update is available for download from the Sony support site now.
