The new DJI Mini 3 Pro is the company’s latest palm-sized drone and a successor to the popular Mini 2, boasting a redesigned body and a handful of impressive enhancements. Upgraded features not only give it better low-light performance but also make it the safest Mini so far. And that’s not all – let’s see what else is new.
Tri-directional obstacle sensing
Equipped with forward, backward and downward dual-vision sensors, the new Mini 3 Pro offers an expanded sensing range above and beyond that of the Mini 2. Along with active tri-directional obstacle sensing, the addition of Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS 4.0) also boosts its flight safety level, allowing the DJI Mini 3 Pro to detect and avoid objects in its flight path as they appear in real time.
Heightened aerial image making
Intelligent options
A newly re-engineered gimbal also offers a wider 90-degree rotation range for low-angle shots, and with the True Vertical Shooting mode you can now easily switch between landscape and portrait in one tap, so you’re always ready for social media. And thanks to QuickTransfer, you can share your footage instantly with high-speed WiFi downloads at up to 30Mbps.
Along with Timelapse and Panorama, additional intelligent modes include FocusTrack to help you follow your subject in creative new ways, and a clever MasterShots option that executes a series of pro maneuvers and then generates a short cinematic video – an excellent entrée to the Mini 3’s extensive capabilities, especially for aerial filmmaking novices.
