Blackmagic Design has announced a whole slew of video products including the URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF, DeckLink IP Cards, 2110 IP Converter and ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K production switcher.
URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF
Other recording options include 60 fps in 12K, 110 fps in 8K and up to 220 fps in 4K Super 16. It oversamples from 12K down to 8K or 4K to improve colour and eliminate aliasing to output ultra-smooth footage.
It features an interchangeable PL mount, giving users the option to quickly switch between PL, EF and F mount for greater flexibility when choosing lenses.
Depending on their needs, users can choose between Constant Quality and Constant Bitrate encoding.
The Constant Quality Q0 or Q5 or the new Q1 and Q3 options will lock the quality level, enabling compression levels to adapt to match the detail levels of each scene.
The Constant Bit Rate 5:1, 8:1, and 12:1 options or a new 18:1 option provides optimal imaging with predictable and consistent file sizes.
Recording options include, dual built-in CFast 2.0 and UHS-II SD card slots and a SuperSpeed USB Type-C expansion port.
There is also a record on two cards option which allows the camera to record to two cards simultaneously at speeds up to 900 MB/s when using CFast 2.0 cards, or up to 500 MB/s when using two UHS-II SD cards.
Lastly, footage can be captured to NVMe SSD drives using the USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port at rates up to 10 Gb/s.

DeckLink IP Cards
The new DeckLink IP cards allow you to capture and play back video directly into 2110 IP based broadcast systems.
DeckLink IP supports SMPTE-2110-20 uncompressed video, SMPTE-2110-21 traffic shaping/timing, SMPTE-2110-30 audio as well as SMPTE-2110-40 for ancillary data.
Because all DeckLink IP connections are multi rate they support both 525i59.94 and 625i50 standards as well as all SD and HD formats including all 720p video standards up to 720p60, all 1080 interlaced standards up to 1080i60 and all 1080p standards up to 1080p60.
There are 3 models to choose from depending on your requirements.
DeckLink IP features 3 channels of capture and playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems via a single RJ45 style Ethernet connection. It supports all 720p, 1080i and 1080p video standards up to 1080p60.
DeckLink IP features 3 channels of capture and playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems via an SFP based optical fiber Ethernet connection. It supports all 720p, 1080i and 1080p standards up to 1080p60.
For connection to both 3G-SDI and 2110 IP systems, this model has 2 capture and playback channels to 2110 IP via RJ45 Ethernet, 3G-SDI and ref out. Supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p standards to 1080p60.
2110 IP Converter
Thanks to its 10G Ethernet connection, Blackmagic’s new 2110 IP Converter 3x3G has the capability to convert 3 separate 3G-SDI devices to 2110 IP video systems.
All of the 3G-SDI inputs feature loop outputs allowing the converter to be installed in line within existing SDI systems.
It features a rack mountable design as well as a font panel with LCD allowing users to change settings quickly and easily as well as monitor live video coming from the input and output channels.
Like the DeckLink IP cards, it supports both 525i59.94 and 625i50 standards as well as all 720p video standards up to 720p60, all 1080 interlaced standards up to 1080i60 and all 1080p standards up to 1080p60.
ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K
The ATEM Constellation is new family of HD and 4K live production switchers that come in four different models, including a 1 M/E model with 10 inputs, a 2 M/E model with 20 inputs and two 4 M/E models with 40 inputs.
Each SDI input features a full standards converter and advanced features such as DVEs, ATEM advanced chroma keyers, media players, multiviews, and SuperSource processors.
The switchers feature a compact rack mount design with a built-in control panel which allows for operation of the switcher, as well as a large LCD for viewing program output and change switcher settings via on screen menus.
On the rear of the switchers there are connections for 3G-SDI or 12G-SDI inputs, aux outputs, balanced audio and Ethernet. On the 4/M/E models there are also RS-422 for serial control and MADI digital audio connections.
Depending on the model, there are up to 24 customizable SDI outputs (4 M/E model) which can independently route any SDI input or any internal source to each SDI output.
There is also built-in multiview allowing uses to monitor multiple sources on a single monitor, a wide range of broadcast quality native transitions such as mix, dip and wipe and up to up to 4 independent DVEs (model dependant) that can reposition graphics or create picture in picture compositions.
The built-in talkback supports a 5 pin XLR headset connector, plus a rear mounted RJ12 connector for interfacing with industry standard talkback systems such as ClearCom or RTS.
