Blackmagic Design has announced a slew of new products at NAB this year including the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2, HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro, Videohub Mini routers and Streaming Decoder 4K.
Let’s briefly go through what’s been announced.
ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 – Pricing and Availability
The new ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2, is an advanced second generation ATEM Mini live production switcher that boasts an expanded professional style control panel, 8 HDMI inputs, 3 HDMI outputs, multi-view, built in streaming engine, CFexpress and Thunderbolt for record/playback.
It also offers 10G Ethernet for fast network storage access, XLR audio inputs, USB webcam, DVE, chroma key, media player and ISO recording of all 8 video inputs.

HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro – Pricing and Availability
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro is a live media player and master recorder that includes ergonomic physical controls allowing users to search through lots of media and play clips. It can also serve as a network storage device thanks to its 10G Ethernet support and internal M.2 flash memory storage card.
It also features a large built in 7-inch LCD touchscreen for monitoring and scopes, 12G-SDI and HDMI for recording to Apple ProRes, DNx, H.264 and H.265 files in all video standards up to 2160p.
HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro Key Features

Videohub Mini 12G Routers – Pricing and Availability
The Videohub Mini 12G, is a new family of compact Videohub 12G routers designed for users working in limited spaces.
Videohub Mini routers are designed for adding extra inputs to all types of SDI broadcast equipment, and all models feature 12G-SDI connections that work in SD, HD, and Ultra HD video standards and feature a “clean switch” function that that is selected on the video outputs rather than the inputs to ensure stable video transitions when switching between sources.
The VideoHub Mini 12G is available in 3 models, including a 1/3 rack width 4×2 model, a 1/2 rack width 6×2 model, and a 2/3 rack width 8×4 model.

Streaming Decoder 4K – Pricing and Availability
The Streaming Decoder is a streaming processor that allows users to build internet broadcast links with the Blackmagic Streaming Encoder 4K.
It decodes the live H.264 and H.265 streams coming from an encoder or camera, then converts it to SDI or HDMI video with talkback, tally and camera control.
