Solidly built and well-balanced, the AF-S 105mm is weather sealed against dust & moisture and the front and rear elements have been treated with additional Fluorine coatings making it easier to remove smudges, dirt and moisture.
Inside the lens, there are 14 elements in nine groups, including three ED glass elements, and the nine-blade diaphragm will create a beautiful bokeh behind the subject.
It also features Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat technology which significantly reduce instances of ghosting and flare and is available in their Gold Ring series of lenses.
