The Nikon Z6III boasts the “world’s first” partially-stacked CMOS sensor, advanced video capabilities, upgraded autofocus, enhancements to the viewfinder and display, as well as cloud connectivity and more!
The Nikon Z6III features a 24.5-megapixel partially-stacked CMOS sensor, a first for full-frame mirrorless cameras, paired with the EXPEED 7 image-processing engine.
This innovative sensor architecture incorporates high-speed processing circuits both above and below the imaging area, enabling a dramatic enhancement in readout speeds, that are approximately 3.5 times faster than its predecessor, the Z6II.
The significantly upgraded autofocus system is approximately 20% faster than the Z6II, and enables the camera to focus in extremely low light conditions down to -10 EV.
Nine types of subject detection, including modes specifically for aircraft are also supported and continuous shooting speeds of up to 120 fps with Pre-Release Capture is also available helping to ensure critical moments are never missed.
