The compact Leica Q-P is a premium variant of the Leica Q full-frame mirrorless camera that features a beautifully minimalist, all black design as well as redesigned/upgraded shutter release and on/off switches that Leica says will provide better tactile feedback when taking photos or switching drive modes.
Like the Leica M10-P announced earlier this year, the Leica Q-P eschews the iconic front facing red dot logo in favour of a more discrete script logo placed on the top of the camera.
The front of the camera features a fixed Leica Summilux 28 mm f/1.7 ASPH lens, and on the back, you’ll find the 3.68MP LCOS electronic viewfinder placed just over the 3-inch, 1.04-million-dot touchscreen LCD.
Leica Q-P Black Mirrorless Cameras – Vistek
The Leica Q-P is tailored to fulfill the most stringent aesthetic and technical expectations. It favours a classic Leica script engraving on the top plate over the usual front-facing Leica red dot logo for a more discreet look, stealthy matte-black paint finish that looks and feels like nothing else, and a redesigned shutter release button for a more positive tactile feedback. The new Leica Q-P also comes complete with a new carrying strap in the finest brown leather, and an additional battery.
