Sachtler has announced three new Cine Series fluid heads, the Cine 20, Cine 30, and Cine 50 that are designed to offer filmmakers unparalleled control and smoothness in camera movement.
Designed to meet the differing needs of filmmakers, the new Cine Series fluid heads offer varying payload options and features.
The Cine 20 is the lightest and smallest model of the three and although compact, it can accommodate cinema cameras with a weight range from 2 to 22 kg (4 to 48 lbs).
It also features a 100mm bowl size, making it compatible with a wide range of Sachtler carbon-fiber tripods, including the Flowtech100.
Thanks to its 16 steps (with boost button) of SpeedBalance technology counterbalance and 7 steps of pan-and-tilt drag, the Cine 20 offers smooth and precise control over camera movement.
The Cine 20 also features a sideload plate with a long adjustment range of 15cm (5.9in) and four rosette mounting points, two at the back and two at the front.
Both the Cine 30 and Cine 50 are larger fluid heads that feature a 150mm bowl size that will accommodate heavier setups.
The Cine 30 has a payload range of 3 to 32 kg (7 to 71 lbs), whereas the larger Cine 50 is capable of supporting payloads from 10 to 50 kg (22 to 110 lbs).
Both models feature a sideload mechanism, allowing for easy mounting and balancing of highly accessorized cameras,
The Cine 30 model incorporates 18 steps of SpeedBalance and 7 steps of pan-and-tilt drag, whereas the Cine 50 model boasts 18 steps of counterbalance and 9 steps of pan-and-tilt drag.
