The new Aputure Storm 80c 3-Light Kit has everything you need to create both hard and soft light for professional productions, interviews, industrial videos, on-the-go filmmaking and more.
Along with the three 80W full-colour compact point-source fixtures, this kit includes essential light-shaping tools and rigging accessories packed snugly into a hard-shell rolling case that’s ideal for on-location assignments.
The Storm 80c at the heart of this kit is an 80W tunable-colour compact point-source lamp featuring the groundbreaking BLAIR-CG light engine. The only thing better than having one of these lights in your kit and on set is having three of them.
BLAIR-CG stands for blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan and green, which combine to deliver higher-quality tunable-colour light than any previous LED system, covering more than 90% of the Rec2020 colour gamut.
This allows the Storm 80c to achieve a wide 1,800K to 20,000K CCT range with full +/- green adjustment.
Accessories include three hyper reflectors to intensify beam output and three mini lantern diffusers for softer, more omnidirectional illumination. You’ve also got a pair of Fresnels for an adjustable beam spread and barn doors for precise light control. With the Light Dome 40 softbox, you get additionally controlled diffusion and a compact footprint.
With an IP65 weather-resistance rating, these fixtures are built to withstand demanding shooting conditions and deliver reliable performance in just about any environment.
For added versatility, the kit also gives you both AC and battery-powered options: D-Tap to 5.5mm DC barrel power cables for direct power from V Mount batteries and untethered operation; plus AC adapters and power cables for consistent and convenient power through standard household outlets.
The hard-shell rolling case makes it easy to transport (and protect) all the components when moving between locations, and the precision-cut hard-foam insert makes it a snap to find what you need the moment you need it and pack everything up neatly when you’re done for the day.
