Yes, indeed. You did read that correctly. The folks at Elinchrom have developed Remote RX Units with iPhone & iPad users in mind and a flash-triggering App is set to hit the market in early 2011. While they’re definitely keeping details completely under wraps until the official launch, we do know that you’ll be able to use your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to control your Elinchrom RX flash lights!
From the Elinchrom site:
“We are able to use the Apple devices with an Elinchrom Made application, which controls wirelessly flash power and pilot light settings, triggering flashes, plus many other features of the Elinchrom RX flash units.”
