Elinchrom has announced updates to three families of Elinchrom lighting products that will add remote control capability as well as making them Apple iDevice enabled.
“Being able to wirelessly fire and control your lights in one-tenth-of-a-step increments makes fine tuning your lighting ratios a breeze and provides the photographer with fingertip studio control, right from the top of the camera,” said Mark Astmann, MDUS Elinchrom Product Manager. “Elinchrom is thrilled to be able to offer this control on their entire line of strobes.”
Although the Skyport Remote can handle all of these tasks, many photographers require even more control. For that, Elinchrom offers an inexpensive USB RX Transceiver which allows the photographer to see and control their strobes right from their Mac or PC. Elinchrom is also the only lighting company to offer remote control of their lights with an Apple iPhone, iPad or iTouch using the Skyport WiFi module.
The Elinchrom products affected by this upgrade include the D-Lite RX ONE, D-Lite RX Kits, BRX Basic Sets, and the Ranger Quadra Hybrid AS RX
