This week, Panasonic launched its newest Micro Four Thirds offering: The Lumix DMC-GH3. Offering expert control for videographers and photographers alike, the state-of-the-art Lumix GH3 delivers crisp images and videos with a 16.05-megapixel Live MOS sensor combined with the incredible processing power of Venus Engine in a portable 550g (with battery and SD card included) compact body.
The GH3 is full of robust video features such as 3.5mm mic and headphone sockets, 60p/60i/30p/24p output, All-I or IPB compression options (at up to 80 or 50 Mbps respectively) and timecode support.
And the accessories to accompany the GH3 seem to reflect its expanded multimedia capabilities. A detachable battery grip for vertical viewing angle, integrates control featuring splash / dustproof design. The external TTL flash comes with wireless function and even integrating LED for video recording. There is even a Stereo Shotgun microphone available.
