Launched a few weeks ago at IFA, the Samsung Galaxy camera was heralded again at Photokina this week.

Is it a phone? Is it a camera? With its 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor, the Galaxy combines leading-edge camera capabilities with Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean and wireless network connectivity, letting users shoot, edit and share images easily anywhere, at any time.

In addition to allowing you to shoot in manual, program and aperture- or shutter-priority modes, the Galaxy also features full HD 1920×1080 30fps movie capture as well as a slow motion 720×480 120fps movie mode. And, like an Android smartphone or tablet, the Galaxy Camera has access to all of the apps in the Google Play store – opening up a world of sharing and back-up capabilities.
