Yes, we’ve veered from tradition somewhat by posting this today. But what’s life without a bit of spice and variety? And, in the spirit of the 2012 Olympics (was that closing ceremony incredible or what?!), we shine a bit of a spotlight on athleticism.
The Canadian Photographer’s Network was started in 2001 out of frustration over the lack of online resources available for professional Canadian photographers. Founder Andrew Ross was inspired by U.S. groups like Editorial Photographers and was impressed by their willingness to openly share information and resources for the betterment of their industry. The site started as a very basic discussion forum several years before Facebook, Twitter and the whole social media revolution started, and has since evolved into a full-featured site with plenty of different resources for Canadian photographers.
